Established by Dave Fischbein in 1910 in Minnesota, the eponymous American company initially sold industrial sewing machines for the textile industry. After the Second World War, the business expanded its operations to include bag sewing closing solutions. In 1956, the Fischbein family set up its European hub in Brussels.

Through the recent partnership with Votech, Fischbein enhances its ability to offer fully automatic Dosing, Bagging and Palletizing lines, as well as Pallet Wrapping and Stretch-Hooders. The Votech brand is known for providing high-precision and hygienic solutions for the food and powder industries, as well the agriculture, building materials, pharmaceutical, minerals, chemicals, pet food and animal feed industries.
